Yes!  Be sure to contact us to make arrangements to visit. In some cases, we may be able to do a video call with the puppy if that is desired. 

If you are unable to pick up your puppy, arrangements can be made to deliver your puppy to you. There may be an additional fee depending on what travel is required to deliver your puppy safely to you. 

Dachshunds come in three sizes: standard, miniature, and toy. Miniature dachshunds weigh between 11 and 16 pounds and stand 5 to 6 inches tall at the shoulder. 

Dachshunds can be prone to excessive barking if not trained and socialized properly. They are alert and protective by nature, but can be trained to bark less with positive reinforcement.

Yes, long-haired dachshunds do shed, but less than smooth-coated dachshunds. Their long, silky fur requires regular brushing to prevent matting and tangling.

While your puppy received a clean bill of health for release from an accredited veterinarian, we require you get a full wellness exam as part of our Puppy First Approach. Stress from leaving their known environment, their mom, oftentimes causes an array of stress-induced illnesses some of which put the puppy's life at risk. We take all precautions to ensure your puppy is set up for a lifetime of health, not just a period of time prior to their release.
